Vijay To Play Double Role In Bharathan's Flick?

In no time after the release of the much anticipated Atlee's directorial, Theri, Illayathalapathy Vijay started working on his 60th project. Based on the background of Tirunelveli, a town with natural beauty and rooted people, the upcoming movie is tentatively titled Vijay 60. According to recent reports, the acclaimed actor will be playing dual roles in the flick.

Where one of the two characters will be seen speaking Nellai Tamizh, the other will appear with a tonsured head. The action drama, touted to be a village based family entertainer, is written and directed by Athithi’s maker Bharathan.The flick also stars Keerthy Suresh and Aparna Vinod in the lead roles.

The director is working round the clock for his forthcoming project. The team of Vijay 60 is currently shooting in Tirunelveli. The cast also include Jagapati Babu, Daniel Balaji, Sathish, John Vijay, Harish Uttaman along with Malayalam star Vijayaraghavan and veteran artist Y. Gee. Mahendra.
