Vijay’s 61 To Go On Floors Next Year

Helmed by director Bharathan, Ilayathalatphy Vijay's 60 is titled Bairavaa and slated for release on January 14, next year. Needless to say, Vijay is one of the biggest crowd-pullers in Kollywood and the latest we hear about him is related to his upcoming flick.  Official announcement on the project came a few days back. Acclaimed filmmaker Atlee will be wielding the megaphone for Thalapathy 61, which will be bankrolled under the Sri Thenandal Films banner.

Atlee and Vijay have earlier collaborated for Theri, which released this past April and raised the stakes at the Kollywood box office. Now, it is being said that Vijay will begin shooting for his 61st film from February 2017. A source has revealed the same and also that the makers are planning to release the film during the grand festival of Diwali, 2017.

It seems like Vijay’s fans will get a Diwali treat from the much-loved actor next year. In 2014 too, Vijay’s action drama Kaththi had a Diwali release. We wish the actor strokes of luck for all his projects on the cards.
