Vijay’s golden gesture on sets of Puli

Popular actor Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his upcoming film Puli. The fantasy film required Vijay to shoot in a forest, where the actor gave a surprise gift to all the people present on the sets. Latest reports reveal that the actor had gifted a gold coin to each one of them, on the auspicious occasion of Pongal.

A source close to the development revealed, "Director Chimbudevan and his team have been canning major portions of the film in the forest for the past couple of weeks. The crew will shoot in Thalakonam till 20th of this month. With this schedule a major sequences of the film will be over. When the shoot was going hectic, Vijay cheered the team with his surprise gift. He gifted gold coins to more than 250 people on the set."

“The Ilaya Thalapathi is currently shooting for Puli in Thalakonam. Right from day one, people there have been showering their affection on him, touched by it, Vijay surprised them by gifting a gold coin each. This has further thrilled his fans and admirers there,” another source added.

The film marks the come-back of glamorous diva Sridevi and features Hansika and Shruti Haasan in significant roles.
