Vijay’s Puli Pushed to October 1

Vijay’s fans must be disappointed with a two week delay in the release of Puli, which was earlier planned to hit the screens on September 17. The movie is now expected to hit box office on October 1. Production house SKT Studios made the news official over their Twitter handle. 

The prime reason for the shift in release date is said to be vast post production and CG work. Writer-director Chimbu Deven is looking very optimistic about the fantasy-adventure project, in which the star actor will be seen playing a triple role. Puli’s story revolves around a cartoonist who draws himself into a different era altogether.

Apart from Vijay, Shruti Haasan, Sridevi, Hansika Motwani and Sudeep will be seen entertaining crowds. Devi Sri Prasad has designed tunes for the flick and the song Yaendi Yaendi is already a hit. The movie is widely anticipated by fans after the superb response to its theatrical trailer release.
