Vijay’s ‘Puli’ Trailer Creates Record

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s ‘Puli’ has garnered a lot of attention even before its release. There are a lot of expectations from the magnum opus which has been helmed by Chimbu Deven. The flick, which will hit the theatre screens on October 1, has created a record.

The trailer of the film was launched on YouTube simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, on August 20. The trailer was a hit and received a lot of likes from the viewers from every quarter. Now it is being said that the trailer has become the most liked video on YouTube with 1, 01,640 likes.

It is a record achieved by any Indian movie. It has beaten the record for likes for the Salman Khan starrer ‘Kick’. However, the video has been disliked by about 21,000 YouTube viewers as compared to the trailer of Salman’s hit Bollywood film, which got 10,300 dislikes. According to the reports, the Hindi trailer of Puli will apparently be screened in a whopping 2500 screens across the world. Let’s hope that the film also becomes a hit like its trailer.
