Vijay’s ‘Theri’ To Clash With Suriya’s ‘24’

Vijay’s upcoming film ‘Theri’ was wrapped up recently and now the film is in its post-production stages. The team is looking to finish off the post-production as early as possible to make it ready for a release in April. The film is slated for an April 14 release and it will clash with another big film.

According to reports, Suriya’s forthcoming film ‘24’ will also be released by the makers on the same date. Makers of both the films want to cash on the festival weekend that falls on the Tamil New Year. Both the films were wrapped up very early and have ample time to create a great final product.

Reports suggest that Silambarasan’s film with director Gautham Menon ‘Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada’ may also clash with the two films. However, no official announcement has been made by the makers of Simbu’s film regarding the release date. It will be exciting to see which film will win the battle on Tamil New Year.
