Vikram’s Next With Anand Shankar To Be Titled ‘Mareechan’?

Few days back, Vikram’s Next With Anand Shankar was launched with a formal pooja. The regular shooting of the flick is expected to start from January, 2016. Nayantara will be playing the female lead in the film and recently Nithya Menen was also roped in for the role of the other heroine.

Speculations are rife that the makers of the flick have finalised the title of the flick. According to reports, the Anand Shankar directorial will be titled ‘Mareechan’. Mareechan was the golden deer in Ramayana that played an important part in the kidnapping of Seeta.

Sources reveal that the title of the film was decided even when someone else was producing the film. Now, Puli producer Shibu Thameens is bankrolling the venture. The title was being considered for Vijay’s last outing ‘Puli’, which bombed at the box office. Reportedly, the shooting of the film will take place in Malaysia, Bangkok, Ladakh and Chennai.
