Vikram's Sequel 'Saamy' Has Been Titled 'Saamy Square'

Actor Vikram is all set to be a part of the sequel of 2003 Tamil film ‘Saamy’ and it is a project where he will be reuniting with director Hari after a very long time. The title of the film has been finalised, which is ‘Saamy Square’. Further, the shooting of the project had started recently.

In a recent interview, the film's publicist confirmed, “It has been titled 'Saamy Square' instead of 'Saamy 2'. The director will reveal the exact reason in due course. The principal shooting began on Saturday”. The film will also star Trisha, who was part of the first project. Keerthy Suresh will be playing the lead character in the flick.

Moreover, a source from the film’s unit said, “After finishing the first schedule in the city, the shoot will shift to Delhi, Mussoorie and followed by Nepal”. The project was supposed to go on floors much earlier, however, due to some other commitments, Vikram had to delay this project. The film is being bankrolled by Shibu Thameens and its music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
