Vimal and Kannan to come together for their next

Director Kannan has roped in actor Vimal for his next. The film is not being titled yet. The maker quoted, “I've been working on a couple of scripts, and decided to go on floors with this one now. It will be a thorough family entertainer, produced by Michael Rayappan. Vimal will play an educated youngster hailing from a farming family in this film. He's energetic and just cannot stay put in one place. The film will be set against a rural background and apart from Chennai. We will also be shooting in Sengottai.”

It is also being reported that the maker is looking for a perfect leading lady for his project and indulged in talks with a few. Kanna said, “We are hoping to wrap up the film in a single schedule and release it in June. Imman will be scoring the music for this film, and the rest of my crew that worked on my previous projects, including PG Muthiah, is part of this one as well.”
