Vinoth Is All Praise For Karthi

H. Vinoth is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film titled Theeran Adhigaram Ondru starring Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh . The movie is based on an appalling murder mystery that took place a few years ago and created quite a stir. Karthi will be seen essaying the role of a policeman donning Khaki.

Talking about what made him make a film on the subject, Vinoth said, “I read a news report on a violent crime case, which gave me jitters. I was wondering how could such things happen! I wrote an action thriller story based on my research. To add authenticity to the script, I met a top-rung police officer introduced by my friend Saravanan. He gave me information about several police cases and after that, I met nearly hundred IPS officers, who handled similar cases. From my research, I could see how duty-conscious they are and how they disassociate themselves from their personal ego. This totally changed my vision, which made me alter my script and tone it down.”

Karthi will play a policeman who is not a loud cop, but an upright police official, who does his job tactfully. The way he finds all the culprits forms the rest of the story. The director is all praise for Karthi and said that whether it is horse riding, knife fight, etc he excelled at all. Rakul will essay the role of a village girl in the movie.
