Dhanush And Kajol's ‘VIP 2’ Finally Gets A Release Date!

The much talked ‘VIP 2’ which is the sequel of 'Velai Illa Pattadhari' which released in 2014 has finally got a release date. The movie which is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films banner is slated to release on July 28, 2017, which happens to be the actor’s birthday. Apart from producing, Dhanush has also scripted and acted in the movie.

The actor confirmed the news about the release of the movie by sharing a video. As soon as his fans saw the video, they made it a trend on Twitter. The shooting of the movie began in December last year which went on for four months. The team wrapped up the shoot in Chennai last month.

Everyone is eager to watch the movie as it will mark Kajol’s comeback to Tamil Cinema after a long hiatus of two decades. The flick which is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth stars Amala Paul in the lead. Wunderbar Films banner collaborated with V Creations of Kalaipuli.S.Thanu to produce 'Velai Illa Pattadhari 2'.
