Noted music composer and singer Chandrabose, who has composed music for over 300 films between the late 1980s and early 1990s, died at the age of 60 following illness in 2010. He was survived by his wife Rajakumari and two sons. Due to insufficient income, Rajakumari, who does household works, recently made an appeal to cinema celebrities to support their family.

Immediately after hearing about the situation, actor and Nadigar Sangam General Secretary Vishal readily called Rajakumari and close family members of Chandrabose to his office. Vishal provided the needed fund through his Devi Social and Educational Foundation. The amount offered to Chandrabose’s family members is undisclosed.

Reportedly, Rajakumari works as a servant maid in a house. Though, she received pension from her late husband’s union, she has said that the income is not sufficient to make ends meet. She lives in penury and doesn't even have money to cover medical expenses.

On the professional front, Vishal, who is occupied with the shooting for ‘Irumbu Thirai’ with his friend Arya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, has finished filming for ‘Kaththi Sandai’, which is scheduled to hit theatres in January, next year.
