Vishal, A Real Life Hero

The G. Balan video has spread like wildfire on the internet. It shows a poor farmer being brutally beaten by policemen. The farmer was apparently arrested because his loan payment was not completed.

Balan’s wife stated that he had to buy a tractor, for which he took a loan of Rs. 3.4 lakhs. Out of the total amount that he had to repay, Balan had paid Rs. 4.1 lakhs already (calculating with interest), with only Rs. 1.3 lakhs remaining. He was unable to complete the payment on time because of an unexpected failure of crops.

Actor Vishal decided to lend a helping hand and posted on Twitter, “Balan.i don't know u. But u r a farmer. I pledge my support to u. Monetarily. I don't know ur loans. but accept my support. god bless”. Vishal is the general secretary of Nadigar Sangam and wants to help Balan out of the goodness of his heart.
