Vishnuvardhan To Direct Ajith?

Director Vishnuvardhan’s Arinthum Ariyamalum was a master piece. He carved a niche for himself in the industry with extraordinary films like Pattiyal, Sarvam and Yatchan. When Ajith’s films did not go well at the box-office, he collaborated with Vishnu for Billa, however, the film was a super hit and expanded the actor’s market.

Now, rumours are churning out that Vishnuvardhan might direct Ajith again in his forthcoming film. During a chat with the Deccan Chronicle, Vishnuvardhan says, “If the project is confirmed, I would be the first person to tell it to the world. As of now, I am not in a position to comment on it.” If reports are anything to go by, the director is in talks with possible collaborators.

A public confirmation has still not been made but if it really happens then it would be Vishnu and Ajith’s third project together. Presently, Ajith is filming for director Siva’s Vivegam, which is up for August release. The last leg of the film is ongoing in the scenic locations of Bulgaria. Apparently, Vivegam is an international spy thriller featuring Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal, Akshara Haasan and Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi in crucial roles.
