Vishwaroopam 2 to release by the end of 2014

A Sequel to the spy thriller film Vishwaroopam is expected to hit the screens in by the end of the year.Kamal Haasan starrer Vishwaroopam released in 2013 and featuredRahul Bose, Shekhar Kapur, Pooja Kumar, Andrea Jeremiah and Jaideep Ahlawat in pivotal roles. The film received positive reviews in spite of fragmented release. The film won awards for Best Art Direction and Best Choreography at the 60th National Film Awards.

According to the latest reports, Vishwaroopam 2 will also featureKamal Haasan in the lead role. Rahul Bose, Pooja Kumar and Andrea Jeremiah will be seen reprising their roles from the original. A source close to the development says, "Vishwaroopam 2 will surely release by the end of 2014. As of now, only two days of shooting is left and some CG work is still pending. The team is working hard towards completing the film and releasing it shortly."
