VJ Ramya To Feature In Manimaran’s Next?

Well-known TV anchor Ramya Subramanian, who is also popularly known as VJ Ramya has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Manimaran’s upcoming film. The actress had earlier featured in several guest roles. Moreover, after her stint in Mani Ratnam’s Oh Kadhal Kanmani, she has caught the eyes of the filmmakers.

She was also seen in Suriya’s Masss and Jayam Ravi’s Vanamagan earlier, where she performed very well. Further, the film has been titled Sanga Thalaivan and its story revolves around the lives of handloom weavers. A source in the know revealed that the actress might join the team very soon.

Moreover, the film’s shooting is said to commence from November 15 in the areas of Salem, Erode and Tirupur. In the film, Samuthirakani will be seen playing the role of a protagonist, who is a union leader to the weaver’s community. However, the main cast and crew of the film are yet to be officially announced.
