VZ Dhorai’s A-Maali Will Be Based On Live-In Relationships

Tamil cinema has changed its perception over movies based on adult comedies, live-in relationships, etc. Earlier considered as taboos, movies based on such topics are receiving warm welcome these days. Filmmaker Mani Ratnam went out of the ordinary and made a film O Kadhal Kanmani which was based on live in relationships.

And now VZ Dhorai, who has worked with the likes of Ajith and Bharath, is coming with something similar in his upcoming movie A-Maali. The story of the flick is kept under wraps. However, sources have revealed that filmmaker-turned-actor Samuthirakani has allotted bulk dates to the film and will be seen in a strong role. He will be seen playing a character who opts to go for a live in relationship.

The source further said that there is an intrguing element Samuthirakani’s character. Grapevine is abuzz that Athulya, popular for working in Kadhal Kan Kattudhe, will be playing the female lead. She will be seen in a bold role. Bengaluru girl Roshini will also be seen in the film.
