Actress Amala Paul has said that she prefers to think about her role in the movies she does other than the actor in it. The leggy lass quoted, “When I sign a film, the hero is the last thing on my mind. My focus is on the script and my role. When I look back at my career, I want to be satisfied with what I have done and so far, I am happy with the decisions I have made.”

The 22-year-old actress will next be seen in Janda Pai Kapiraju and Velaiyilla Pattathari. Paul is in a happy zone these days with the kind of characters she is getting to play on screen. She said, “I'm really happy with the roles I've been getting in Tamil and Malayalam films. The roles that I play there are demanding and I am completely dedicated to them. When it comes to Telugu cinema, in the past, I've done films which are very commercial, but I don't want to do films with fives scenes and four songs.”
Amala has clearly indicated that she is only interested in doing films that has a good script. It appears that the starlet is trying to grow more as an artist now. She is even trying to shed some extra kilos for Janda Pai Kapiraju as her character in the flick demands that. It is good to see that the actress is completely involved in bringing the best out of herself in the movies than to be worried about other aspects of it.
