Will Kaala Release On Its Scheduled Date?

The Tamil Film Producers' Council had called for a strike from March 1, over DSPs charging Virtual Print Fee or VPF from producers. The strike has been called off now and has paved the way for Tamil films to get released. All the Kollywood films are likely to release from this week now and Rajinikanth 's Kaala is one of them.

Helmed by Pa. Ranjith and bankrolled by Dhanush , Kaala is set to release on April 27. But the release is not certain as there are already films that are lined up. On this query, TFPC president Vishal said, “Already, there are films, which have missed their releases due to the strike. So, the new releases are already lined up in order. Accordingly, each movie will get its release date. We will plan in such a way, that three films can be accommodated on a single Friday".

This statement has made us think if Kaala will really release on its scheduled date or will it be postponed. Apart from Rajinikanth as the lead actor, the film also stars Bollywood stars like Nana Patekar and Huma Qureshi . Nana Patekar will be playing the role of a politician who is the antagonist.
