Yuvan Shankar Raja Ready For His Next Assignment ‘Oxygen’

Dynamic music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is all set for his next big project, which he will start working at the month end. Predominantly composing for Tamil movies, Yuvan has signed for Telugu star Gopichand’s next movie, called Oxygen. It is believed that the direction for the movie will be given by veteran producer AM Ratnam’s son Jyoti Krishna.

The movie will be produced by Sri Sai Ram Creations, which will star Gopichan and Rashi Khanna in lead. Yuvan has worked in over 100 movies in his career span of 15 years, which has earned him great respect from one and all.  He infuses various genres in his compositions that include folk, R&B, techno, heavy metal and hip hop as well. 

The popular music composer has won two Filmfare awards for the Best Music Director Award in 2004 in the drama 7G Rainbow Colony and Filmfare Special Award- South in 2009 for a musical film Oy!.  In addition to that, he has received over 7 nominations and an International Film Festival Award in 2006 for Raam; making him only Indian composer to do so.
