22 singers to sing in Sunil Soman's multilingual film

If reports are to be believed then in Sunil Soman's multilingual road movie103 km, 22 singers will sing in four languages -- Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.

The music composer of the film, Mikku Kavil, is excited to be working with so many talents for the movie. "It was a great challenge and being my first film, I couldn't have asked for a better platform to prove myself," says Mikku. He became popular after his last music album became a big hit. According to sources, some of the singers areMuthuchippi Poloru...singer Sachin Warrier, Sangitha Sreekanth ofChattakarifame, and reality show winners Najim Arshad, Sonia and Rahul Laxman.

"We started off with two songs in Malayalam written by Rahul Soman. The initial plan was to translate it to the other languages while following the same tune. However, the production company was keen on including a Sufi number and an item song for the other languages, to boost the audio rights," Mikku says. He added, "For the other languages, we just had to make slight modifications to account for the modulation and tone. The singers too were selected based on their comfort level in different languages," he explains.
