Actress Lakshmi Manchu blessed with a daughter

Becoming a father on father’s day is probably the best thing that could happen to somebody. Actress and model Lakshmi Manchu gave her husband Andy Srinivasan a moment to cherish by making him a proud father of a baby girl on father’s day itself. The entire Manchu family is delighted with the news.

“To the love of my life. May this be the Happpppiest of birthdays. You are the wind beneath my wings," wrote Lakshmi Manchu, wishing her husband before she became a mom. Actor Mohan Babu confirmed the news, saying, "God has been kind. Lakshmi Manchu, my darling daughter has been blessed with a baby girl through surrogacy. It is one of the best moments of my life. It feels like goddess Lakshmi has come to our house." According to the sources, the baby girl is healthy and weighs 3 kgs. The baby was born on Andy’s birthday and the family is very happy about it. Manchu family is planning huge celebrations in Hyderabad. "Happy birthday @premanand6 ! And happy first Father's Day! You have a gift of a lifetime in your arms today! May god bless u now and always!," posted Viranica Manchu. "God had been kind. @LakshmiManchu my darling sister has been blessed with a Baby Girl. Through surrogacy. Thank u god:) I'm Mama now," posted Manchu Manoj.

Lakshmi has acted in various films like Gundello Godaria, Basmati Blues, Doosukeltha and Chandamama Kathalu. She won The Hyderabad Times Film Awards in 2011 for her performance in Anaganaga O Dheerudu.
