It became the first Telugu film to bag the Best Film award at the National Film Awards. The team of the film preferred to shoot for the sequel rather than celebrate.

Celebs from all the industries congratulated the team for their achievement.  In response the director of the epic historical fiction film, S.S. Rajamouli tweeted, “Expert supervision of Srinivas Mohan garu. This is huge for us. Gives us a lot of encouragement to work more harder and smarter to make an even better film of BB2. We team Baahubali whole heartedly thank the jury and all the well wishers”.

He also acknowledged his producers and called them the best. The unit is currently shooting for the second instalment at Ramoji Film City, where huge sets have been erected for the shoot. The team is striving to make ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ better and bigger than its prequel.
