Akhil Akkineni Tastes Success

Akhil Akkineni’s debut film was a flop at the box office but his latest release Hello, which released on December 21, is doing very well. It shows that the actor has finally tasted success. It is also a relief to his father Nagarjuna, who has left no stone unturned to give the movie a grand release.

Talking about his earlier box office debacle, the actor said, “I didn’t give up! I watched Akhil over 30 times just to understand where I went wrong. I have made a huge effort to improve and I am glad it has paid off. Doing Akhil was my decision and I am solely responsible for its failure”.

He also said that after the failure of his debut film, he didn’t meet anyone. He took time to sign his second film. However, post Hello he is not going to take a break anymore. He said, “I’d like to do films a bit more often now”. It would indeed be interesting to see Akhil turn the heat onscreen quite often.
