Akhil Akkineni’s ‘Mr Majnu’ Overseas Rights Sold Out For A Record Price?

It seems that Akhil Akkineni has done some magic on the industry. And we are saying this as the overseas rights of Akkineni Akhil’s upcoming film with Venky Atluri tentatively titled ‘Mr Majnu’ has already sold out. And as per the reports, the rights sold out for a record price of Rs 3 crore by Saregama Cinemas.

Well, it is a huge amount for a Akhil starrer as compared to his earlier films. The young star was last seen in ‘Hello’ which had created huge buzz before it released with amazing promotional tactics. But unfortunately, the movie didn’t do well at the box-office. The makers of the film are expecting that the film will be the highest grossing film of the actor as the overseas rights have been sold for around Rs 3 crore.

The film is directed by Director Venky Atluri who made his directorial debut with ‘Tholi Prema’ last year. And it is said that this is one of the reasons for the film’s popularity in the overseas market.  Akhil has managed to make a good fan following with his sharp looks and charming personality but with flop films. Other than this, the film is backed by BVSN Prasad under SVCC banner which stars Nidhhi Agerwal as the leading lady opposite Akhil.
