‘Akhil’ May Not Release On Dussehra

This October, Tollywood will witness some great releases. People are excited amid the release of thee big movies this month. On October 9, Anushka Shetty’s much awaited movie ‘Rudhramadevi’ will be released. Then on October 16 Ram Charan starrer ‘Bruce Lee’ will hit the theatre screens and the debut movie of Akhil Akkineni ‘Akhil: The Power of Jua’ is planned for a Dussehra release.

According to the reports, V.V. Vinayak, who is helming Akhil’s maiden film, is planning to push back the release date. Reportedly, he wants to maintain a gap between the releases of the other two big films to avoid competition. However, Nithin, who is bankrolling the project, is keen on releasing the flick on time.

Reports suggest that both, the director and the producer, are having a discussion over the film’s release. No official announcement has been made regarding the possibility of postponing the film. But it looks like the makers will opt for a safer date for the movie.
