Akhil’s Second To Be Remake Of Kammati Padam?

After Akkineni Akhil’s debut film went down as official dud, the actor is very cautious to sign his next flick. The actor is considering movies with utter carefulness and wants to choose a movie with low risk. As per reports, the star son may appear in ‘Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani’ remake on the cards under Vamsy Paidipally direction.

However, there is no confirmation from either actor or director on this news. Another speculation is that the actor may choose Telugu remake of Malayalam hit ‘Kammati Padam.’ The movie had Dulquer Salmaan in lead and was directed by Rajeev Ravi, earning praises from critics as well.  

‘In next couple of months, a final decision will be taken. Akhil is excited to work on this sort of remake projects because such films not only give him a versatile image but also offer huge scope to perform,’ a close source to Akkineni camp revealed. This will be a tough job for Akhil to justify the character that was beautifully portrayed by Dulquer.
