Akkineni Nageswara Rao is no more

Legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao has passed away. He was 91. The actor was suffering from cancer and lost the battle today in Hyderabad. It is also being said that the veteran died while asleep. Rao was among the top actors down South. He was honoured with Padma Vibhushan and Dada Saheb Phalke Award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.

In his career span, he always entertained his fans in every possible manner. He did over 250 flicks; Anubandham, Agni Putrudu, Sutradharulu and Sitaramayyagari Manavaralu are a few to be named. He was currently involved in Manam which certainly casts three generations of his family. Rao is survived by three daughters and two sons. God bless the great soul.
