Akshay Is Not Part Of The Film : A. R. Murugadoss

Rumours were rife over Bollywood star Akshay Kumar joining the team of A.R. Murugadoss-Mahesh Babu as the lead villain for the flick. Akki who is playing antagonist in Rajinikanth’s 2.0 did not surprise many, however, the maker has put an end to the speculations.

Kaththi’s director made it clear that the lead villain will be played by S.J. Suryah as earlier announced. He also said on record that Akki is not part of the project.  

Currently, a set has been erected in Annapurna Studios where a song will be picturized on Mahesh Babu this very month. Music for the flick is given by Harris Jayaraj, the famous composer from Sainikudu. In the movie, Santosh Sivan will be cranking the camera, who was widely appreciated for his work in Mani Ratnam's Raavan.
