Akshaya Priya Bags Another Role

Telugu actress Akshaya Priya has been signed up for another project. The Madurai based actress is well known for her role in previous movie Maruthu.

The actress will be starring in the movie titled ‘Imai’. The movie revolves around a romantic love story between an uncivilised boy and an intelligent girl that takes place during a train journey. Regarding the movie, the actress has been quoted as saying, "I play an ambitious girl, who completes her education in Mumbai. She comes to Pondicherry just to meet her childhood crush. What follows forms the crux".

The young actress ended her statement talking about how she bagged the role after several rounds of auditions and her dream of becoming an actor which she was able to achieve because of her aunt, who had some connections in the movie industry. ‘Imai’ movie is helmed by Vijay K Mohan.
