Allu Arjun To Share Screen Space With Mehreen Pirzada?

The successful star of the Tollywood industry, Allu Arjun, is all set for his forthcoming flick. This project is likely to be helmed by Harish Shankar. Rumours are doing the rounds that Nani’s actress Mehreen Pirzada has been roped in by Harish for this upcoming project.

According to a source, the makers decided not to go with their first choice who was Pooja Hegde. The unconfirmed reports suggest that Mehreen will play the female lead in opposite Allu Arjun. Apparently, the project is titled ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ alias ‘DJ’.

“They’ve approached Mehreen, but haven’t signed her officially yet. Shruti Haasan was approached too, but she is busy with her current project. The makers are also considering Manjima Mohan who is making her debut with Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo opposite Naga Chaitanya,” says a source from the unit. Moreover, it is whispered that this Dil Raju bankrolled film will hit the floors in November.
