Anasuya Bharadwaj Was Shocked To Be Offered Cop’s Role In Kshanam

Anasuya Bharadwaj, who is popular for her glamorous image, is for the first time playing a tough cop in Kshanam. Anasuya revealed that a year back when Adivi Sesh narrated her the script, she thought she would be offered Adah Sharma’s role. “Listening to Adivi Sesh narrate the script over coffee, I imagined myself as Shwetha (Adah Sharma's role)”, she said.

“I'm very jovial by nature. So playing a serious, authoritative yet graceful female cop wasn't easy at all. Subtlety is definitely a gift”, she added.

She also said, “I'm usually bracketed as this skimpily clad girl who is dancing on TV shows. And most of the offers I get also reinstate the same stereotype. But in this film, the audience will see a completely new side to me”.
