Angana to debut in Tollywood with Mahesh Babu

Bengali actress Angana Roy is on cloud nine as she has been selected to do a cameo role along with super star Mahesh Babu. She will play a small role in Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie Srimanthudu. This will be her first movie in the Tollywood industry.

Sharing her excitement about the movie, Angana said, "I am extremely excited about debuting in Telugu cinema and that too with a Mahesh Babu film. This is the 10th film of my career. I have been part of films in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada. I have been a big fan of Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan and Ravi Teja all these years, and I love the grandeur and larger-than-life scale of Telugu films".

From the moment, Angana Roy has shared her picture with Mahesh on a social networking, she has been flooded with congratulatory messages from friends and well wishers.  As per the sources, her name was selected for the movie after screening 70 actresses. "I think I was destined to be part of the film. By the time I was called for a look test, I heard that the director had already screened 70 other actresses. I am playing a very glamorous character. I can't reveal much about the film", the actress said.
