Anu Emmanuel Roped In For Nani’s Next?

Anu Emmanuel is already creating quite some buzz in Tollywood as the Malayali actress is making her debut with Gopichand starrer ‘Oxygen’ in the Telugu film industry. The grapevine now suggests that the actress is under consideration for Nani’s forthcoming film. It is said that director Virinchi Varma was impressed with Anu Emmanuel after seeing her performance in Mollywood film ‘Action Hero Biju’ and hence he decided to cast her in his next film.

An insider close to the director has made the revelation. “Based on her performance in the film, he felt she would bring both freshness and novelty to the character in his upcoming project”, said the source. Rumour also has it that Rakul Preet Singh is also under consideration for the role.

“Anu has been approached for a role. She has liked the story and has given a verbal consent to work in the project. But a final decision about the same is awaited”, the source added. Reportedly, the movie will be produced by Gemini Kiran.
