Anushka Role For Nagarjuna’s Baba Hathiram Biopic Finalized?

Rumours over Anushka being part of Nagarjuna’s Baba Hathiram biopic had been doing the rounds for a while and another claim now tells that her character is defined too. The actress who mesmerized one and all with her acting abilities in Rudhramadevi is set to portray Lord Venkateswara devotee in the flick. Anushkha was also part of the latest release and successful Oopiri as she played a cameo character of Nandini.

"Anushka will be playing an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateshwara in the film. It's a crucial role that will be instrumental in taking the plot forward”, a close source revealed. "She will be playing a woman from the 18th century. A lot of research has gone into finalising her look”, he added.

The film will depict the 18th Century period and the life of Baba Hathiram. Moreover, the movie will also talk about the history of Tirumala and significance of the rituals that are followed at the shrine. The Devasena from Baahubali will don a simple, traditional look in the flick in regard to that period.
