Anushka Shetty Rejects ‘Queen’ Remake

We guess that if a sequel of Bollywood’ critically appreciated movie ‘Queen’ is ever made, every actress will happily hop in to play the lead in the movie. After all, the flick was a blockbuster hit which fetched the lead actress Kangana Ranaut a National Award. But, it seems like that it is not the same in south.

Everyone is aware about the Telugu and Tamil remake of the movie. However, the film has experienced many setbacks and hasn’t had the smoothest of journey so far. Earlier, it was reported that actress Tamannah will reprise Kangana’s role in both Tamil and Telugu versions. Initially she agreed but later pulled out of the project as things did not materialise.

Later, actress Anushka Shetty was approached for the role as she is famous for playing strong characters in women centric films. However, she also rejected the offer as she believed that people will compare her with Kangana. Now it looks down that the makers will have to zeroed down on Kajal Aggarwal for the role.
