Anushka Shetty Says: My Voice Won’t Suit My Characters, Which Are Mostly Loud

Actress Anushka Shetty, who made her debut with Puri Jagannadh 's 2005 Telugu film Super said that her voice doesn’t suit the characters she plays. Many actresses in the film industry are good at speaking the regional language, they try their best to make their voices suitable for their characters. However, Anushka never does the same.

She revealed, “My voice is sweet and it’s like a child’s voice. It won’t suit my characters, which are mostly loud. If you look at the roles I’ve played recently, even Bhaagamathie, they need heavy voices. My dialogues have also been quite full of anger. So if I lend my voice to them, it will spoil the role. So I’ve never tried it”.

Many actresses get dubbed by other professionals for having unsuitable tones. But Anushka said that it is usually decided by the film’s team. She said, even her latest release Bhaagamathie required her to have a bold voice. Bhaagamathie released recently and it has grossed nearly Rs 30 crore at the box office.
