Arvind Swamy Gets Huge Remuneration For ‘Thani Oruvan’ Remake

It is known that Ram Charan will star in the Telugu remake of hit Tamil film ‘Thani Oruvan’. For quite some while now, Arvind Swamy has been linked with the project. He will be playing the lead antagonist in the film and will be receiving a huge amount for reprising his role of Siddharth Abimanyu.

According to reports, Arvind Swamy demanded a whopping amount of Rs. 3 crore as remuneration for the flick and the makers agreed to it. This is the biggest amount the actor has received for doing a film. It will be interesting to see him against Ram Charan in the film which will be helmed by Surender Reddy.

Reportedly, the project will be launched in January, 2016 and will go on floors in September.  The makers are planning to release the film in the latter half of 2016. The hunt for the leading actress is still on and Shruti Haasan and Ileana D’Cruz are being considered for the role.
