Ayngaran International bags overseas rights of Ajith’s Valai

The much anticipatedValaiis all set to go international as the London-based film distribution company Ayngaran International has grabbed the overseas rights of the film. Producer A.M. Ratnam holds the theatrical rights of the film in India while Sony Music has been given the audio rights. The film which has been provisionally namedValaiwill feature Ajith, Arya, Nayantara and Tapsee in lead roles.

Ayngaran International is mostly known as one of the market leaders for overseas Tamil film distribution and it looks forward to doing good business in countries like Malaysia, Singapore, the UK, the US and Canada, where Tamil films are quite popular. In the film, Ajith plays a handsome cyber crime department officer, performing some stunning action scenes in a Ducat bike, shot in Dubai and also a boat chasing sequence.

Ayngaran holds records of distributing numerous big-budget Tamil films overseas includingSivaji, Chandramukhi, Gilli, AlaipayutheyandBilla 2007.TheVishnuvardhan-directed film is expected to complete its shooting process by later next month. Yuvan has composed the music for the film. According to producer Ratnam, the film is likely to be released in June or July depending on post-production.
