    ‘Baahubali’ To Be Released Over 6,000 Screens In China

    ‘Baahubali’ changed people’s approach for regional cinema. The multilingual magnum opus got great response from the audiences all around the world. The Prabhas starrer grossed over Rs. 600 crore worldwide and was lauded at many international film festivals. The film will now have a mega release in China.

    Last year it was reported that the S.S. Rajamouli directorial will be released over 5,000 screens in China.  But the latest reports suggest that the epic historical fiction film will be released across China in over 6,000 screens. Earlier it was reported that the flick would hit the screens in China by November, 2015, but that did not happen. Reportedly it will have a grand release there in May.

    According to reports, a well known distribution firm, which released Rajkumar Hirani directorial ‘PK’ in China, has bagged the rights of releasing ‘Baahubali’ in China. ‘PK’ holds the record of highest grossing Indian film, while ‘Baahubali’ stands at number three. It would be interesting to see whether Rajamouli’s masterpiece can leap the hit Bollywood film.
