Baahubali Prabhas To Reprise Lord Rama This Dussehra?

Prabhas’ titular character in S. S. Rajamouli’s directorial venture ‘Baahubali’ has re-defined him as an actor. The 36-year-old star recently became the first south Indian actor to have his wax figure immortalised at Madame Tussauds. Reportedly, several event organisers and companies have approached Prabhas as they want him to burn the Raavan figurine around this time of Dussehra.

According to grapevine, these organizers want Prabhas to play Lord Rama and carry out the tradition to burn off a statue of Raavan with a flaming arrow. On this note, a source close to Prabhas said, “This is a quirky turn for Prabhas. People have connected so well with the actor’s performance in the action scenes of Baahubali, especially with the bow and arrow that now they want to see the actor in the avatar of Lord Rama. Several requests have been pouring in by the event organisers who want Prabhas to come and destroy the Ravana’s effigy on the auspicious day.”

Currently, this highly admired actor is busy in filming the climax of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. Another source had to say about the climax that, “The climax will be a huge fight between the good and the bad. The team is still preparing for the shoot, as a huge army for Kattappa is required for the scene. The cast that will play Kattappa’s soldiers, have been growing their hair and have been instructed not to chop them off till the climax scene has been shot in December 2016!” This flick is slated to release on April 28, 2017. Apart from this sequel, Prabhas will give a cameo performance in ‘Bhagmati’ also.

Desimartini wishes Prabhas all the best for all his future works.
