Recently, it was reported that Arvind Swamy has been confirmed as the villain for the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Thani Oruvan’ starring Ram Charan. It was being said that he would be reprising his role of Siddharth Abhimanyu for the Telugu version. Reports suggested that he would be charging Rs. 5 crore to play the baddie in the film. But the reports have turned out to be false.

According to reports, the makers of the film have not finalised Arvind Swamy to play antagonist in the flick. Ram Charan, who went on a short vacation after his last offering ‘Bruce Lee’ bombed at the box office, is back in Hyderabad. Sources close to the development of the project reveal that the Magadheera actor will soon be deciding the main villain for the flick.

Earlier, Nagarjuna, R. Madhavan and Rajasekhar have been linked for the role of the villain in the film. But none of them were finalised for the Surender Reddy directorial. The project is expected to kick-start from January, 2016.
