    Balakrishna Apologizes For Making Sexist Comments

    The actor-MLA while speaking at the audio launch of Nara Rohit starrer Savitri passed a few vulgar comments. Reportedly, Balakrishna had said, “If I play eve-teasing roles, and just follow girls, my fans will not accept. Either a kiss should be given or they should be made pregnant. That's all. We have to commit ourselves”.  

    Rumors have it that the comment did not go well with two actresses present at the event and a case was filed against Balayya. The YSR Congress party leader and actress Roja demanded an apology from the CM of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Balakrishna. The actress bashed out at the actor for his sexist comments. Later, Balayya corrected his comments and explained his intention in a statement released by TDP.

    Balakrishna, the MLA of TDP said that his comments were in reference to the context of film stories written these days. The 55-year-old actor added he immensely respects women, treats them as a family member and did not intend to disrespect them. Balayya at the end wished Happy Women’s Day to all the ladies throughout the world.
