Balakrishna’s 100th To Be A Cop Drama?

While Balayya’s 99^th film Dictator did a decent business at the box office, the fans are curious to know about his 100^th film. Speculations were rife that his 100^th might be Aditya 999, a sequel to the 1991 hit film, Aditya 369. But, it seems like his 100^th film will be a cop drama.

The movie will be directed by Pataas director Anil Ravipudi. Reportedly, it was the director’s debutant movie which convinced Balakrishna of his capabilities. A source close to the film told media, “Talks have been on for over two weeks now. Balayya was impressed by Anil's unabashedly commercial approach in Pataas and also liked the teaser of his upcoming film Supreme”.

The source added, “Balayya loved Anil's narration and was especially thrilled by the police officer's character. It's a very quirky cop role, something which Balakrishna has never done before onscreen”. While an official announcement is awaited, director Anil is hopeful for a positive response as he wishes to direct the milestone film of the 55-year-old superstar.
