Balakrishna’s Character In Aditya 999

Balakrishna’s 100th film will be Aditya 999, a sequel to the 1991 film Aditya 369. It has been reported that Balayya will be travelling back in time to the Kakatiya days. The movie will be directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao who is known for his films Welcome Obama, Bhairava Dweepam and many more.

The director is planning on the actor playing the role of Gona Ganna Reddy. Gona Ganna Reddy was the ruler of Vaddemani from 1262 to 1296 AD. His rule was under the queen of Kakatiya Rudrama Devi. The historical character was previously played by Allu Arjun in the film Gona Ganna Reddy.

The film is expected to start shooting in the middle of this year. It is not confirmed whether Balakrishna will play the character or not. The role of his son will be played by his actual son Mokshagna who will be making his debut in Tollywood.
