Bicchagadu Wins Big In Tollywood

Vijay Antony starrer Bicchagadu has surprised many by performing great in Telugu as well. The film that was resisted by many distributors over its name has their pockets full now. Bicchagadu has minted Rs 13 crore in total with Rs 30 lakh coming from Telugu release. 

Actor who is also a popular music composer said, "I owe this success to my Director Sasi sir and my distributor Lakshman. His courage on releasing this film against a massive film, pinning hopes on the content has been the biggest plus factor. I’m indeed excited to be termed as a hero who can command commercial respect in two languages at the same time”.

Vijay went on and added that he was told that it was not often when a Tamil hero is accepted by other regional fans. He further said that they backed film’s proper script, execution and plan for success. The actor added that he remains optimistic about wider acceptance of his films in Telugu in future as well.
