The gangster-drama film, ‘Kabali’, was creating headlines right from the day it was officially announced. The movie thrashed almost all big records and has now taken a step forward for a social cause. The makers of ‘Kabali’ have decided to auction the costumes worn by superstar Rajinikanth in the film.

Pa. Ranjith’s directorial flick showed Rajini in superbly designed coats and suits. The outfits were undoubtedly flawless and very stylish. The makers have now agreed to use the fund collected by the auction for a social cause. The auction is likely to be held soon through an online auction portal. It isn’t the first time that attire used by Thalaivar in a film are auctioned. Previously, in 2005, when ‘Chandramukhi’ released, a similar act was organised. Reportedly, the fans of the superstar fought amongst each other for his clothes. It is now certain that the ‘Kabali’ team is an expert when it comes to marketing.
