C V Reddy Appointed Chairman Of The Oscar India Jury

Leading producer C.V. Reddy has recently received the honour to become a chairman of the Oscar India Jury this year. The producer, who is also a senior director, is known for his outstanding contribution to the Telugu, Kannada and Tamil cinema. The producer has become the first Telugu film personality to achieve this honourable position.

Meanwhile, till now many North Indian film personalities have got the opportunity to take up this role. Being the first time for a member of Telugu film fraternity to be appointed as Chairman, it is an honour for them. Earlier, C.V. Reddy had served as a member for National Awards.

Further, apart from this, he had also been part of the panel for many International film award ceremonies. Now that he has been appointed as the chairman, he will be watching all the film entries from India. He will have the power to select a film to be sent as the country’s entry in the Foreign Language category, with other jury members assisting him.
