Cast of Pizza’s Kannada remake finalized

The cast of Kannadaversion of Karthik Subbaraj’sTamil blockbuster filmPizzahas reportedly been finalized. According to sources, Chiranjeevi Sarja and Pranita have been finalized for the lead roles in the Kannada remake being directed by Prashanth Raj. "The Kannada version will be calledWhistleand will have Chiranjeevi Sarja and Pranita in the lead. We will start shooting for the film in January, and are looking at having four songs in the film," says Prashanth, for whom this will be the first film to be made outside of his production house.

On the rumours about having problem in getting the rights for the remake, the filmmaker said, "Once we pitched for the rights and the news was circulated in the media, the producers received several offers and tried their best to up the price. There was stiff competition, but we have managed to overcome it and have obtained the rights and all other no objection certificates (NOCs) required to start work on our version.”
