Clash Of The Titans On August 11!
While Telugu moviegoers are in for a treat this week, filmmakers, producers and distributors are going through a lot of discussions and arguments. Three big movies including ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’, ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’ and ‘LIE’, will be making their way to theatres on August 11. Obviously, this has become a matter of concern for the distributors and producers.
Nene Raju Nene Mantri stars Rana Dagubatti and has been produced by Suresh Babu. A source close to the producers shared, “Suresh Babu is already in the safe zone as his film has got good business and the Hindi satellite rights have also been sold for a whopping Rs 7 crore because of Rana’s fame. So he can release his film on a regular weekend”. The source added, “Jaya Janaki Nayaka and LIE need a good number of theatres to recover their money as the budget of both the films have gone a bit high. So they don’t want to change their date and at the most, one film may release a day in advance”.
The same source also shared that the middlemen came up with a proposal that a lottery should be picked wherein the chosen names get to release their movie. On the other hand, Bellamkonda Suresh is planning on releasing his son’s film, ‘Jaya Janaki Nayaka’, a day early. Let’s see who takes the box office cake.
